Dig In! Is FINALLY Here!!!! 🥂❤️
The cookbook I poured my heart into is officially yours!
This day has felt so impossibly far away for so long and I can’t believe it’s finally here—my first cookbook, DIG IN!, is out TODAY!!! I started working on this book three years ago and the process to get here has not always been an easy one, but your support and enthusiasm kept me going ❤️ I really hope that this is a book that you’ll fall in love with and cook from for years and years to come.
My goal was to make every single recipe as delicious and foolproof as possible so that any cook of any level can pick it up and feel confident in the kitchen. It doesn’t matter if you’re a beginner cook or the one giving the rest of your family and friends a few pointers in the kitchen. From my take on Italian-American classics like One-Pan Chicken Marsala & Orzo and Spicy Garlic Shrimp Linguine with Crispy Panko to recipes near and dear to my family’s heart including my Mom’s Secret Salsa and Nana’s Iconic Crunchy Lemon Parm Salad, there are 104 (yes, 104!) recipes that I can’t wait for you to try. I can’t possibly pick a favorite but I’m SO excited to hear what yours is! If you haven’t already, you can order your copy here or tap the link below:
To celebrate the release of DIG IN!, Andrew and I got to New York City on Sunday from a redeye and made our way over the The Knickerbocker Hotel in Times Square. The staff was so kind and we stumbled upon their incredible rooftop bar - and did I mention they invented the martini!? So naturally we made sure to try it for ourselves and it’s definitely the real deal. If you’re ever in search for a great hotel in the city, or even just a cute rooftop bar (St. Cloud Rooftop Bar) for drinks, we loved The Knick!
Last night, we kicked things off with an incredible launch party at Powerhouse Arena in Brooklyn with my friend Sarah Fennel of Broma Bakery. (If you don’t already follow her, run don’t walk to her Instagram and blog!) While I loved getting to chat with Sarah about the process behind creating a cookbook, my absolute favorite part was meeting all of you. It was so surreal and special, and honestly, my hands are still shaking as I write this. It’s such a dream come true and I can’t believe we’re just getting started.
We’re off to Boston next to have a fun conversation with Jenn Lueke at Trillium Brewery on Wednesday night, followed by additional stops throughout California, Texas, and Chicago (get all the details and ticket info here!).

Even if I’m not visiting your city or you can’t make it to the tour, promise me that you’ll tag me on Instagram (@erinnobrienn) so I can see what recipes you’re cooking first! That really is my absolute favorite part of this thing that I get to call a job.
Still need to grab a copy of DIG IN!? You can order your copy here or snag one from your local bookstore!
Thanks again for being part of our WTF To Make For Dinner community here on Substack. I’m so grateful for your support and excited about all of the deliciousness to come. Now it’s time to dig in!
Love you,
Erin
